PSA : Avoid Fake TOTAL Tools Listing Online

Dear TOTAL Tools Malaysia customers, please beware that there are plenty of fake listing online today and we are trying our best to fight against these listings as well as looking into several ways to solve this issue.

Below are some photos as an example you can look for yourself right now in Shopee. When you search for “TIDLI2002”, there are a couple of listings that is selling at almost half the price from all other sellers. This is a huge red flag ?

Our Original Listing,

Competitive pricing and is using our own high quality photos.

Fake Listing,

Priced extremely low compare to others and usually copy photos from other sellers.

When something seems too good to be true, it probably is. Still, we decided to try to make a purchase to test it out for you guys.

Lo and behold, two weeks after placing our order we received an envelope with just a piece of face mask in it! ??

Strategies and Solutions

One of our current and on going strategy is to enforce registration of TOTAL Tools online shops and sellers with us. This will include all of our Authorized Retailers as well as Resellers to have their eCommerce shops’ names to be listed here on this website. This way we can reassure every customers who is looking to buy our products with a peace of mind.

At the meantime we are also actively reporting these fake listings in hope that none of our precious customers get caught in these scam.

And of course, this PSA does not only apply to our TOTAL Tools brand alone but every other brands and products out there as well. So what do you think is the better strategy moving forward?
